My brain has a good casting budget.

Three distinct sets of dreams.

In the first, I was helping Rogue Squadron stop some sort of psychopathic terrorist. Details muddy. No sci-fi details except for the involvement of Rogue Squadron, though.

In the second, I was wandering around the Twin Cities with the kids from Arts High. I think there was some magic going on, but I can't remember for sure.

In the third, I was in a spy thriller soap opera -- specifically a soap opera, because the further we got in the dream, the worse the special effects got as our budget ran out. Right at the end, the Secretly Evil Ambassador, played by Laurence Fishburne, had captured the Plucky Investigator, played by Jodi Foster, who had come to him for help after her car was blown up. Not sure how she survived that. Soap operas. I was also there (played, of course, by Matthew Grey Gubler), and was debating whether or not I should co-operate (if I co-operated, Jodi Foster would get tortured and probably killed. If I didn't, I'd be tortured and probably killed... and she'd be next.) It was very dramatic but not very scary. Because, you know, soap opera.

Webcomics.

Just spent two hours catching up on all of Gunnerkrigg Court. I'd tried to get into it before, but for some reason found it boring.

I do not find it boring now.

I hate that thing that happens when you read a new piece of serial fiction from the beginning and then catch up with it and realize things will be glacially slow when you read it one update at a time rather than 969 pages in a day.
