... and it's not procrastination.
It's water.
I live in Moorhead, MN; which is right across the river from Fargo, which, well, I don't watch the national news but I'm told the flood is in it. So far we're past the 1997 figures already, and odds are we'll be up another 4 feet and over the dikes and sandbags by Monday, at which point I will no longer be in town.
Now, no worries, guys, seriously - I'm half a mile from the river (even from where it is right now); and live in an upper-story apartment. I and my stuff will be fine; but mandatory evacuations started in parts of town today, so I'm planning to amscray while I still have friends with cars in the area. This will mean a, er, temporary decrease in the regularity of my posting if it happens.
I feel kind of bad that, really, I'm thinking of this as rather fun. It's an adventure! For the first time since college I'll be doing something that would gain me XP!
I'll update more when I know more.
