Out of my groove.
Apr. 7th, 2009 12:23 pmBeing out of town for a week under the circumstances and stresses and whatnot has really thrown my schedule out of whack, not to mention totally derailing several existing trains of thought. I had my next post about comics mostly composed, inside my head - I was just letting it marinate a bit - and now I only remember three words of it. Grumble. I could just post more poetry and more fiction until I can essay another essay (yes, saying that greatly amused me), but realistically, nobody comments on my posts when they actually contain creative work - people seem generally more interested in my peripheral meditations on things, and I am a crowd-pleaser by nature.
The next logical step, then, is just to ask: is there anything you guys would be particularly interested in seeing me post about? Any previous posts you'd like expanded explanations or context or further thoughts on? I make no promises, but I'm trying to build an interested and engaged audience, perhaps too deliberately. The new shoes thing is still a bit of an issue.
