Well.  Now I have a third glowing book review to write, this one for Hunger Games.  And I need to get my hands on the sequels, stat.

Beyond that, it's been getting a little harder to do my daily blogging, both because I have other things to be doing, and because I'm running low on topics I find interesting that I think would interest anyone else.  I'm a massive ham, a very performative person, and like most such people I have a vast but fragile ego.  I want to provoke thought, interest, conversation, reaction -- I don't want people to comment on my posts out of any sense of obligation, don't get me wrong.  I want to tell you things that are so striking that you cannot help but comment on them, and that is very much a craft that I need to polish.  Generally speaking, this year, the number of comments on any given post has been inversely proportionate to how interesting or important the post was to me, and therefore to how much I wanted and even expected people to comment on it.  What I think I want to do, then, is go back and review my posts this year, note what's gotten the most positive and engaged responses, and see if I have anything else to say in those particular veins or styles or whatever might be compelling about them.  I won't manufacture artificial posts just to get a response if I can't think of anything that really speaks to me -- but I do want to fins what it is that speaks to all of us.
