Disruption in your usually scheduled service...

 And this morning, Megan's laptop decided not to function.  This is going to make regular blogging slightly more challenging for some time, and until we can retrieve data from her hard drive, I won't be posting much more writing, either.  Hadn't backed up my files in a bit...

And of course, we can't really afford repairs right now, let alone a new machine.  This laptop was over four years old, well past its warrantee, and has been held together by love and masking tape for a while now.  We have access to other computers, so we won't vanish entirely, but this does complicate things more than a little bit.  Damn and blast.

Right now, we're hoping it revives on its own (it has done so before), or that one of our more computer-savvy friends can plug the hard-drive into his tower so that we can copy over our files.

Bah.  This is the last thing I needed right now.
