Busy day, busy week...
Jun. 20th, 2011 10:22 pmAfter a long time idle, this summer has been just... full of things. More good than bad -- I am excited to have this resident manager position, excited to once again be launching a webcomic (more on that soon), excited to be spending two weeks in Utah next month.... but damn does it make keeping up on all my day-to-day commitments trickier when I am used to a very sedate, lackadaisical pace.
Today I went for a roughly two mile walk, did some managing of residents, cooked a spaghetti dinner for four, wrote a role-playing plot... and now am blogging. It doesn't sound like a lot, I guess, but I have another RP plot, more managerial duties, my daily wordcount, my thrice-damnable agent letter, more job hunting, webcomic scripting, and various social and gaming commitments to make, and as yet I have made no progress on these things.
I am glad I keep forgetting I have cable TV (have I talked about how I am getting paid to have cable?), or I would never get anything done.
Admittedly having a private minecraft server is not helping overmuch either. On the plus side, I *did* build an accurate if small-scale model of a Roman castrum today, a life-size chessboard, and a fairy castle project is ongoing.
I love Minecraft.
There. I think I just made a post about my everyday life that I don't hate. What do you, oh readers who wished to hear more about my real life, think of it?
Fiction-writing time nao.
