So. One of my New Year's resolutions this year was to write 250 words per day, giving me a yearly goal of 91,250 words.
As of an hour ago, I am at 91,254 words.
That is at least twice as much as I wrote last year, and last year I wrote roughly twice as much as any previous year.
Several months ago, I adjusted my daily goal upward to 425 words, which I have made roughly 80% of the time (and always made up the words when I fell behind).
So, for the rest of the year, new goal: 500 words per day, but 98,000 more words by the end of the year, which will require me to have quite a few very good days. If I complete that goal, I will probably finish The Hellion Prince by Christmas.
