Finally, belatedly
Sep. 21st, 2011 01:24 pmPosted the last of my Shepherds' Rule worldbuilding posts. 600+ words of fiction last night, so the work goes apace, I guess. These days it's about 50% The Hellion Prince (I have another chapter -- maybe two! -- ready, but Megan's work schedule kinda cuts down on her time and energy to be my editor) and fifty percent... sequels to The Shepherds' Rule. Horror-tinged fantasy southwest noir buddy-cop stories (sort of) with werewolves, wraiths, and ethical drama! So far I have a monastic murder mystery, a wilderness-survival story where the wilderness is not the real threat, and a classic Western novella all plotted out. And there may be a more-mystical coming of age story for one of my secondary characters, but I thiiiink that's part of my monastic murder mystery.
As always, if you're interested in being on my filters for fiction or meta, let me know.
Now, to work on today's wordcount while there is still light outside, for once...
