Sitting on my butt reading is apparently the order of the day.
In any case, three more books polished off: Planetary, Vol. 4 by Warren Ellis & Jon Cassady; and The Long Fall & When The Thrill Is Gone by Walter Mosley. Planetary is still my favorite Ellis; the perfect blend of cynicism, deconstruction, and sense of wonder layered in a narratibe far more humane than the language and violence in it would suggest. As for Mosley, he continues to turn out some of my favorite hardboiled detective stories, although he brings enough common themes and character types from series to series that he risks the sin of repetition.
