I'm doing well. Productively, getting back into a healthy groove when it comes to running my life in a timely fashion.
Last week I went to go see my cousin's wedding, which was gorgeous, and the reception was a delight. Irish and Moroccan music blend very well together.
And as I have said to a great many people... I love my family. Many families would be shocked or scandalized that a female relative was marrying a Moroccan Muslim man. For my family, the only surprise was that she was marrying a man.
I'm spending a lot of my social media time over on Plurk these days, because the immediacy of it lends itself well to conversation, and because, well, I get more responses there and if y'all don't know by now that I'm an attention slut, you have not been paying attention.
mattnificent is my handle in those parts, if you're interested in adding me.
My friend Mike, who's been staying with us for the summer, was gone this weekend, so I spent an inordinate amount of time wandering around the apartment au naturel, simply because I could. This morning, a good five hours before I expected him, I heard his voice right outside the door and had to bolt back to the bedroom before he and his father came in.
Fun times.
Now. More coffee, followed by more work.
