...and that's all I really have to say on that subject.  Sigh.  Got enough money to make it through the month, though.

In other news, I decided it was high time my main icon wasn't me in the fall of 2004, and so I've  uploaded a few more recent icon-selves.  I debated which of them to use as a default picture, but really, I smirk so much that this is probably the best likeness.

And, well, that's not actually a smirk - that's just me smiling!  Ask anyone who's seen me in person and they can tell you that 90% of the time my grin makes me look like I've just shackled James Bond to something...

It was. They had a quota of recruitments they expected me to be making on Day 3; on day 6, I was only making half of it - quitting was a pre-emptive thing.

You've my sympathy. That kind of business is really rough. I did political canvassing for a while, and pre-emptively quit under similar circumstances--I wasn't bringing in enough money by bugging strangers at their doors for it. Wasn't any wonder to me when that campaign failed to elect their candidate, really.
