By writing slowly over a long period of time and then being really lazy about typing and editing until I have a manic period &/or I can convince megan to do some typing and critique me.

That said, I did write 1800+ words of fiction yesterday, and 500ish today...

Ok, sounds a lot like me then. I'm really afraid I'm drifting back into a "must edit and do an inordinate amount of reading" phase, because I JUST got a really exciting idea for a novel that I am dying to write, but I'm averaging 500 words a day, mostly just when I can squeeze them in.

I did lay out 1,300 words of smooth fiction in like, 20 minutes a few days ago though. I was euphoric.

My secret weapon tends to be herbal. Something about brewed loose-leaf tea and a cigarette just makes me feel like an author.
