Fiction can fix my brain.

After a week-long run of productivity and energy, I've been having a week of lethargy and frustration.  Still am, really, but at the moment I feel blissed and optimistic after re-reading Zot! by Scott McCloud, a recently-reprinted 80s superhero comic in which a teenaged superhero from an ideal parallel universe and a pessimistic girl from our new york fall in love and explore one another's worlds.  It moves and inspires me like almost nothing else I have ever read, while at the same time rendering me cheerfully depressed in the certainty that I will never be the genius writer Scott McCloud is.

Has anyone else read it?  I really want to talk about it with someone, and can scarcely locate anyone who's even heard of it.

I've heard of it, but I've never read it. Sounds interesting. Is it in current reprint run?

It (well, the second half of it, which is all I have read and all that Scott McCloud seemed to think worth reading) was collected and reprinted back in 2008, and since then I have run into it in many libraries, but no bookstores save Amazon.
