I keep accidentally posting mini-essay Literary Opinions when commenting on other people's posts -- so far I have Why The Dark Is Rising Sucks and The Geological Epochs of Stephen King, and I sort of expect more will Happen.

Would people be interested in reading (read: discussing) my Pretentious Literary Notions as actual posts?  No point in throwing them up here if they're not the sort of thing y'all find engaging, but if they are, I might have Content again!

Don't get me wrong, I think they're well-written and I would have loved to feel the nostalgic love a bunch of my fellow flisters seem to have for them, but every time I've tried slogging through any of the books...... Although I have, strangely enough, read a lot of great fanfic for the series. Um. Somehow it doesn't click. Which makes me sad!
