While I am working on the steampunk LARP, I'm reviewing notes and gear from previous years.  Inevitably, my notes are patchwork and incomplete, leaving me with questions.

Foremost among them, at the moment, is this:  what the balls is a Scheinwerfers-Atmensturzhelm?

My roommate who's studying German says it's something something breathing helmet. Google Translate says it's headlight breathing helmet. My brain takes that and turns it into a Big Daddy diving helmet from Bioshock. *facepalm*
