And so it is very hard to find the presence of mind to post. Scattered progress has been made today on both fiction and finances, but nothing particularly worth discussing. In fact, some of the progress on A Stain Upon His Hands has convinced me that my opening is too slow, repetitive, and meandering, and thus is a sort of anti-progress: it got me somewhere, but that somewhere is the conclusion that I need to scrap at least a couple pages and maybe the entire opening and try again.
