My favorite difficult to translate word in another language is "Fremdsprachenfeinheitseifersucht," which can be translated as either "envy of the nuance evident in a foreign language" or, more specifically, "Another nation's native speakers being surprised, pleased, and envious that the German language has already got a word for a seemingly nebulous concept."
I love this word because when you see the translation of it, you experience the emotion it describes.
