Mmmm amaretto in the coffee today.

163 words on Knight of the Star, and 198 words on Tumulus.  And I'm sure I've missed reporting a few words here and there, as I really don't just STOP when I hit my daily quota, but the quota is what I talk about here.  The need to self-report, to assure you all that I'm keeping up on it, is extremely motivating to me, part of what helps me make sure that every day I plant my ass on the couch and write, rather than simply playing Echo Bazaar or Minecraft or WoW, or spending hours reading blog posts and the many branching links that head out from there.  I'm sure it's not terribly interesting for you all to simply see the numbers put down every day, and I'm sorry about that -- if there's a way to make my wordcount a better conversation topic (excerpts?  summaries? what I'm researching?), let me know and I'll do it.  I far prefer posts that turn into conversations than these bald statements of numbers going on day after day.
