Mmm, coffee. Daily wordcount going slow, but it's going. Several other things that I absolutely must accomplish today, but I have plenty of time for them all, so. That's good.
My blogging here seems to swing back and forth between structured and deliberate and much more spur-of-the-moment stream-of-consciousness, and this past week I have not really been feeling very deliberate in my approach to... well, anything. Response and engagement tends to be a little higher when I am deliberate, but then when I make a very formal, planned essay and nobody responds, I get very irate and bent out of shape (which is all me, Dear Readers, not you at all); and when I just blog what I am thinking and nobody replies, I mind less, because the point was to express what was on my mind, not to begin a discussion.
I am doing more religious, spiritual, theological or whatever thinking lately, however. Maybe you've noticed. ( / irony) This is probably because I have eased into both reading and commenting regularly on Slacktivist, The Slacktiverse, and The Tony Jones Blog, and if there are any other blogs or fora people could recommend to me, I'd be interested to check them out. They don't have to be from a liberal Christian perspective to interest me, but it does help, since that's my general outlook, with various heterodox, heretical, and agnostic tendencies. Still, I don't just want to hear my own perspective echoed again and again.
Feeling a little caffeine-hyper now. Probably overdid it after a week+ without caffeine, but my fresh Sumatran was calling to me this morning, and wouldn't take no for an answer.
