After some frustrated research...
Aug. 5th, 2011 01:48 pmI turn to you, oh my fiends, for help. I remember reading at one point about some sort of fey or fairy creature, maybe a dwarf, maybe something related to fire somehow... that had extremely long, prehensile hair with which it could tie people up.
has anyone heard of such a creature, or know what it might be called? Google and wiki are failing me. I *thought* it might be a monster from older editions of D & D, but entering that as a variable in my searches didn't produce any more help.
And if it does turn out to be D & D... does anyone know if such a creature existed with those qualities in folklore before? Much as I love RPGs, they don't exactly hew accurately to the tales they mine for material.
ETA: Looks like I was thinking about either a Korred or a Korrigan, Thanks!
