Dislike the new comment layout on LJ. Have commented vociferously about it in all the appropriate places, and some other places.

The last few nights I have had troubling dreams I cannot remember. Lost of stress, lots of conflict, lots of me making mistakes.

Excited to be visiting my family for Christmas. Also excited to only be staying 48 hours.

The Yuletide story looms ever larger. Hoping to finish it tonight, rather than in full panic mode tomorrow. Any and all beta-ing will have to be done post-upload, and I realize my betas may not have time at all in the final days before Christmas -- if so, that's fine. :-)

Despite all this, really starting to feel the holiday season. Now I just need snow. But, er, preferably NOT on a day I'm driving across the state.

If...

...you are unhappy with the changes LJ has made with its most recent release, please tell them so. I'll even break it down and make it simple:

Tell them here, here, and here.  That's the LJ feedback form, the latest post in LJ news, and the latest post in the community specifically for discussing new LJ releases.

If you are unclear on why the new release makes people unhappy:

1)  The removal of comment subjects and changes to the comment navigation buttons make it much more difficult to track extensive comment threads.

2)  The new way icon selection for comments is handled is glitchy, posting with the default icon often even when another is selected; and the fact that all the icon images load when you go to select means slow connections and icon-heavy accounts now make icon selection much more onerous than before.

3)  I have heard other complaints, numerous in number and sinister in nature, about the new comment interface, but I do not remember them all.
