It's probably too late for me to start NaNoWriMo.  But I was bitten by an idea, and may (if I am lucky) be spending the next two weeks bored to tears in a pharmaceutical study (this is lucky because there's a $3600 paycheck involved).

I'm starting to think that NaNo is a dangerous thing.

I've got 1600 words--8400 more would catch me up to today. Realistically speaking, I'm hoping I'll manage to get it up to 3k tonight.

It's looking like Firefly, only with FTL, anthropomorphic cats and marsupials, and no Mandarin cos mine is even worse than theirs. ;-)
