If you've already gotten started on an idea, please just go with it - I was about as specific in my requests as I could be, which is one of the reasons this was so hard for me to write, and in any case, I'll be grateful for anything in my listed fandoms.
With that said, then... my requests were:
1: Persona 4- Chie Satonaka/Naoto Shirogane/Protagonist
I can't help but think that sometime in the future these three would wind up working for the police - Chie and Naoto as cops, and Souji as a profiler or shrink or criminologist or something. I'd really like to see futurefic covering that, either gen or with any pairing or multiship, and as many secondary characters as it makes sense to include.
This is about as specific as I can get, I think. If you were matched because of this fandom and you don't do futurefic, anything with these three simply moving in that direction would be great. A love triangle or three-way romance would be especially great, but certainly not a requirement.
2: Elizabeth Moon - The Deed of Paksenarrion series- Duke Phelan/Paksennarion
Phelan/Paksennarion, either romance or very close friendship, taking place after the trilogy and totally discounting the canon of the more recent books.
I'm conflicted. On one hand, Paksennarion is a great asexual character, a powerful woman who's defied stereotypes by having her happily-ever-after be romance free, and with that in mind, a gen story about her friendship with the Duke would be great.
On the other hand... well, I sort of always secretly hoped she'd wind up Queen of Lyonya. I thought that would be a nice plot twist. It's definitely implied that Phelan would be interested, but held back due to their age difference and his position of power - but with her a paladin, and him half-elven, those objections sort of disappear. Whether a gentle, subtle courtship or a sunny, happy look at one of her stops in court after the romance has been established, either would be fine - but she'd definitely still be going out and questing, Queen of Lyonya or no.
3: Neal Stephenson - Snow Crash- Hiroaki Protagonist/Y T
Anything taking place after the book and showing more interaction between our wisecracking heroes. Gen or het, doesn't matter.
I have an especial fondness for caper stories, and the kind of language Neal Stephenson used, but apart from that I've honestly got no preconceptions or preferences.
4: Bordertown series- Orient/Sparks/Sunny Rico/Wolfboy aka Lobo
Anything set after the events of Finder.
What it says on the tin. Ensemble cast, canon pairings, a look at life in Bordertown.
