As usual...

Rather than waiting, I rushed madly around the Internet and my hard drive to find new (and old) userpics, and uploaded them over at [livejournal.com profile] matt_doyle. Which brings me to the next stage: a layout/style/whatever you crazy kids are calling it these days. I'm not a terribly big fan of the defaults, and absolutely crap at making new ones. Would anybody be interested in helping me beautify my new workspace by designing a layout for me? I am willing to bribe people if necessary.

More Running In Her Veins will be forthcoming this weekend, but as nobody's commented on the three newest chapters yet, I figure I have time to procrastinate a little. If you've been planning on reading it but haven't found the time yet, you've got until the 15th- at that point, the rough draft, like everything else on this LJ, gets privatized for good.

For that matter, is there anything I've written or said or whatnot that people would like me to leave friendslocked or public when I close up shop? A bit egotistical of me to think that, I guess, but it seems only polite to check - I've enjoyed sharing the past eight years with everybody here (though more than half of you have been friended at the new journal, too - and if I've forgotten you and you'd like to come along for the ride, let me know!).

Okay. Cutting this short before it gets more rambly and disjointed.

You look like my brother! Only he can't seem to grow a beard.

Haven't read RIHV yet, due to having unadvertantly opened a can of worms 8now safely thrown away) in JA fandom. But I'm going now. :D

Actually not about Running, but about Hall. I missed when and why the story comm closed. I was looking to catch up on a weekend and couldn't find it.

... did the explanation for that never get posted? Damn. The project is on hold at the moment - it got started when my sister and I wrote 25k words in 10 days over Christmas break, which turned out to be a less sustainable pace than we thought now that she's back to dealing with school and we're not in the same place. It is still definitely our intention to continue the story, hopefully starting back up in the next couple of months. The LJ is still up, with all the chapters posted so far available to the public - http://crossheart-hall.livejournal.com .

And it's a personal journal, not a community, which is why I couldn't find it on my user-info page. My user error, then, since I was looking for it specifically and not scrolling =120 to catch up on news.

Okay, good. I mean, not that you can't abandon it if you need to, but I was reading with interest.

And in a couple of months, maybe I'll be able to stay current on my flist 8-) Though I'm not betting on it.
