The name game.

Working on The Hellion Prince still.  The words are coming slowly, but they're coming, anyway.  I need a name for a large stream or small river that goes through the middle of the capitol of the Duchy of Heartscore.  Anyone have any clever ideas?

My first reaction though is 'Thread.'

Hm. Not sure specifically as to sound... it's a magic-heavy faux-Regency setting, and the only named body of water so far is the Knifewater.
