elf_amazon , positively the most amazing girl I have ever met (and I have met a lot, friendslist, after all: I know a bunch of you!). This last year has been sunny, snarky, geeky, and literate. I have been quoted at and understood when I quoted. I have been cared for, tended to, and possibly pruned when I started growing in the wrong directions. I have been edited fastidiously and with razor-edged care and zero indulgence. I am as happy as I could ever imagine being, and sometimes happier.
Happy anniversary to me, and may I still be as sensibly grateful seventy years down the line.
