matt_doyleDinner today is what I am referring to as "grown-up chili." That is to say, not just meat and beans and tomato sauce. Chicken, black beans, onion, corn, rice, a V8 sauce base (seriously why use anything but V8 for a base when it comes to chili sauce?) -- both spicy hot and regular; chili powder, brown sugar, red pepper flakes, hot paprika, Old Bay, cilantro.
For some reason it feels less like a holiday today than Easter usually does to me. Not a bad day or anything, but the sense of celebration and sacredness I usually feel is simply not here. It's weird.
In other news, I've lately started becoming more active as a Nerdfighter and begun watching vlogbrothers videos again. Are there other Nerdfighters reading this blog?
Also, are there ways to crosspost from DW to tumblr or other sites based on very different blogging software and interfaces?
