matt_doyleThe problem with writing a character whose motivations and actions are cryptic & hard to grasp is that you may find her cryptic and hard to grasp. When my muse asks "what's my motivation for this scene?" and your answer is "Christ, I dunno," you are in trouble.
In unrelated news, I am stuck on a Damarhis & Imadria scene in the next chapter. It's not the only scene I have left to write but it's the only one I'm unsure of.
