matt_doyleJust turned Chapter Twenty-Four over to my betas. At 9500 words, it's a bit of a monster, but to me it feels beautiful and necessary. Maybe because after being stuck on several vital scenes, I shoved through them today in a burst -- 2500 words in the last three hours.
Feels good.
It will be posted by the weekend, at the latest.
Should mean that I'm an even two-thirds done with the book, too, even if Part II is dragging long. Part III probably does not need twelve chapters to describe the climax. More action, less space.
