Avengers!

Finally saw Avengers, and I have to say, it really built upon itself.  That is, the longer I watched the movie, the more I liked it -- even the parts I had seen before -- because the more of the shape of the thing was visible.  I liked the science geekery, and the manipulation, and Bruce Banner, just like everyone told me I would.  I was interested to see, though, that while all the things fandom has been squeeing about were present, that squee has been so focused and selective that I was expecting a movie in which those elements were much more prominent.  if that makes any sense.

Anyway, I liked it.  Not as much as I like the movies that lead up to it, but I like it quite a bit.

I feel strange saying that Thor may be my favorite superhero movie, but honestly it just might be.   Iron Man is the only real competition.  Liked Captain America wayyy more than I expected to, but not as much as Iron Man.   HATED Iron Man 2.

These are my thoughts.

Also cannot wait for the Black Widow movie.
