 ... that after LJ's new friendslist style goes into effect, I will stop crossposting and reading at LJ entirely and just stick with dreamwidth.  We'll see how it goes before I decide, but I despise the infinite scrolling model tumblr uses.

Does anyone need an invite code?  Alternately, DW users:  do you have extra invites you'd be willing to offer would-be blog immigrants?

Plus side: I may remember to read my DW circle!  I read LJ 2-3 times a day right now.  I read DW about... once... every other... week?

You don't need invites - after December DW hit a point where the growth was self-sustaining, so invites have never been turned back on.

That is what I want to happen! Seriously if like... fifteen more of my friends came over to DW, I would forget LJ was a thing in under a week.

yeah, that's basically where i'm at :( most of my friends use lj so rarely they don't really mind the changes, and the two who do use it regularly.... WELL I DON'T KNOW WHAT THEIR EXCUSE IS FOR NOT AT LEAST CROSSPOSTING but it makes me sad. dw is totally my home base now- i even forget to check lj for like two months at a time these days.

Yep. Same deal. I'm pondering defriending the LJ versions of everyone who crossposts, so I remember to check both sites, but I am lazy and a creature of routine.
